Yep. not very smart are you. The whole point of my comparison is that displacement doesn't necessarily improve performance. And a fairmont isn't two ton either, not even close.

The reality is, unless you a comparing similar types of engines, you can't make any reasonable comparisons between the performance of different engine types.

Why is it you have to call people names! see you do it habitually on this board. Do you feel a little insecure!

mals69, Apr 17, 12:21pm
Not far off 2 ton , displacement everything if everything else is even - period ! Where talking performance orientated , not boat anchors

ninja_man, Apr 17, 12:21pm
stop talking about yourself. are you related to scotty by any chance!

mals69, Apr 17, 12:22pm
If you were secure you wouldn't even bother asking the question .

mals69, Apr 17, 12:24pm
Who da fark is this scotty clown

trdbzr, Apr 17, 12:24pm
they both are from christchurch, so quite likely related, then again, scotty was known to use other people's trademe accounts to post on here

ninja_man, Apr 17, 12:24pm
thats exatcly what i was thinking. He wont last long haha

mals69, Apr 17, 12:25pm
Yeah stalker 400,000 people all related

a.woodrow, Apr 17, 12:25pm
ok if 400kg isn't too far off then sure, whatever. But ok if everything else is even, can you show me a 1.3l v8 that will whip a rotary! cos thats what we are talking about, a small engine that punches well above it's weight when you look at displacement

a.woodrow, Apr 17, 12:26pm
What do you drive - not a supercharged v6 commodore by any chance!

mals69, Apr 17, 12:26pm
Saids the wannabe ninja

a.woodrow, Apr 17, 12:34pm
Hey scot. I mean mals69, how do you feel about hondas!

trdbzr, Apr 17, 12:35pm
Scotty Pathetic Wilson!

a.woodrow, Apr 17, 12:37pm
yep it's a pretty boring car to drive and it's heavy on gas but I don't actually care. I got it because I want a daily driver thats roomy, cheap and comfortable, and the ford ticks all three boxes. Performance cars get to be a drag when you get dings at the supermarket, get stuck in traffic or you are just shuffling to work and back. thats why people get a daily driver.
