An alleged A grade mechanic who doesnt understand the properties of a skank whistle. I know you are a troll, I am dumb enough to be baited, but on the very wee small chance you are for real, wow, what the hell are they teaching these days :S

if your an a grade mechanic then what the hell was i taught at tech then! child care i think not you a fool to event think you can put a blow off valve on a non turbo engine thats as bad as the dickhead that straped a turbo on to his non turbo sr20 and wound the boost up and thought it would hold well it didnt work and cost him dearly grow up and learn some skills
doomy999,
May 2, 4:38pm
I have done it before on my last car. You sir are not a mechanic. Thats plainly clear.
beast9,
May 2, 4:41pm

your right Im a Maori carver BUT my car has two turbo's and some versions of it had two BOV;s to match, try Pro Wholesale for a GFB BOV thats what I am running now, which I installed myself
jokerboss,
May 2, 5:13pm
you should seam weld the head gasket while your at it the BOV will never work otherwise

wow Im amazed how little you guys know or how far behind the times you are. In our workshop we dont need to use headgaskets. Very old hat. Our engines have the heads welded directly to the blocks. No head gasket leaks ever. Its the latest technology straight out of China. Cheap throw away performance engines. yep, i was right. All old dinasours in this forum. :-)

doomy - I heard, if you mount a BOV backwards, it doesn't blow air. It does the opposite and it sucks air making it sound just like a turbo spooling up!
.and just for s**** and giggles, http://www.youtube.com/watch!v=VbNxugO-uf0 It's hard to NOT laugh at that. it just sounds so stupid (coming from someone who has an aftermarket BOV too)
edited - I missed an important word out

whether it can or cant be done isnt really the issue here, the thing is 'why'!. However the easiest way to get your desired result an equivalent performance increases is to, step 1: get your BOV, step 2: find a private room with a window overlooking your car, step 3: lock the door, step 4: remove your trousers.- .
