Some people will never understand it, like it or stand for it but it does not change the fact that its a very common thing that gets done at alot of funerals where the person was into cars or motorbikes, most of you people know that, just go look at the marks on the road outside most funeral homes & cemeterys and if you asked most of the people at the funerals they happen at they will agree that its a good thing to see and its just one part of there way of sending a mate off! Its does not make all the people that do it a bad people, anti-social, dis-respectful, boy racers or any of the other similar crap some of you sheltered no life people have called them! you do not know them, there freinds, family, what they do or what they are like! sure some are not model citizens but most are good people weather you agree or not. They are not doing 200kph in town racing past people nearly killing them its far far from that which is the way some people are acting.

We lost a good mate/ fellow petrolhead yesterday in a motorcycle accident and I can just about guarantee that there will be a burnout or few carried out somewhere discreetly in his honour.rip Luke.

There's going to be rodder's funeral in Palmy on Friday probably over 500 people there, will be an interesting comparison I guess.

Must have created a bloody great atmosphere for the people attending the other funeral.A heap of screaming cars and the haze and smell of burnt tyres.
Try to justify it however you want, but I consider the actions of these morons to be totally disrespectful and shows a complete disregard for other people visiting the cemetary.

now if one of my petrol head friend died i would think of better ways to show respect. Maybe help organise a working party to finish off his/her car for the family so its ready to hand down or sell to help pay for the funeral. Or offer to help out with the funeral etc.

I agree completely with you Steve. It is disgusting to behave like that at a cemetary especially when they were not the only ones grieving for the loss of someone they loved.

Seen the latest! http://www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/news/6844344/Sister-proud-of-burnouts-at-funeral Seems according to the sister (who must be some sort of driving/racing instructor to make this comment) said "the drivers involved had skills second to none". Funny that I haven't seen their names in the championship positions at international levels. Do they breed them stupid in the Hutt or do they get any existing brains depleted by hanging round with dickheads!

lol, defend defend defend, til the last drop. Sometimes you need to know when to cut your losses. Just brings the name of Upper Hutt people down even further in my books.

The police should have taken there cars to the crasher we don't need these people on our roads. They can't drive or have any respect for othe road user. Wish I had my digger there I would have crash them with my bucket.

I see the sister on tv tonight having a whinge. No one else has sympathy for ya, may as well stop being apathetic. Bad luck losing a 22yo but grow up you all deserve everything you get. And now the place looks like dump after these scrubbers have left their mark. No right to block a road, no right to do burn outs etc etc. Ha blardy ha the cops took your (already stolen)stuff.

The cream of Upper Hutt society rises to the top and gets their minute of limelight. She will be so proud of herself when she watches the replay.
Will be interesting to see how much of a slap with a wet bus ticket these clowns get from the judge.

They won't get anywhere near what they deserve more's the pity. The judges in NZ seem to lack the nuts to throw the book at anyone.

The funeral for "Flamez" is being held near the Palmy Speedway and everyone has been invited to do a lap of Honour in memory of Lloyd and I think you will see a few "Smokies" in the proximity. R.I.P. FLAMEZ.

I am glad I can still remember being young and irresponsible, good on them for doing it their way.
