That's the saddest story I've ever heard! I'll pay as long as I can inspect the repair workmanship at my leisure!

just keep it, thecountry is going mad! we got a new 3 step, step ladder the other day. its got warnings on the second step not to stand on it or the top step. so we have a 3 step, step ladder that we can only use the bottom step, bloody useless!
It would be more like. If you are stupid enough to use this ladder and you have an accident and get investigated then you will get no pay out and will more than likely get charged. After my uncle had a 2 step ladder collapse on him while doing a cleaning job and almost killing him i would say unless you have a good quality,150kg min rated , certified ladder then get rid of it. If you still choose to use it then you are a fool.

I'm happy to have the nature of the problem clarified. I can see exactly what has occurred with the ladder in that photo with the article, it has been in the scaffold position and hasn't had a plank laid across it like the instructions specify. Then someone a lot heavier than me has put all their weight on it.
So long as ya doing a cheaper job than any one else rob man i dont care what u use. But if your using paint to thin your brains and it falls off my car then i could say something and complain i suppose. other than that i dont care what cheap ladder your brain decides to use.

I think you're reaching a bit there, cheap materials don't work too well and end up costing more in the long run. A ladder which is used once a month or so doesn't need to do any more than provide something to climb on and isn't going to affect the quality of a repair. I think you are trying to be inflammatory, take your boredom elsewhere.

Why are we talking about ladders in a motoring thread , is it a part of an engine that I dont know about !

Rob, You use paint to thin your brains! Then spray it on cars!Whos your supplier and is it cost effective to use brains and paint!I would think some brains would be far better than others though. Some are hardly ever used so they would be the good ones I guess.

I couldn't find the "ladders" board.

Nicely analysed, I think the Nuke that's meant for HC is leaking radiation under someone's bed. Everybody knows that brains are lousy for coverage and only come in one colour. Am I cheap! That depends, I have a sliding scale of charges based on the IQ of the customer.Mr Nuk would probably qualify for a free job.

Hey rob I dont realy care about that cheap ladder u want to keep. If ya employ anyone just tell them its the biggest bit of crap you paid for and its your risk if u wanna use it. covers your ass at the same time dont ya think.:)

From memory it was $185 including freight, I've had it for about four months and it doesn't look like breaking.
