how do i tighten it if its cable and how do i tell the difference!

it is cable but cant remember if it is able to be adjusted or not.

Have a look down by where the cable joins the clutch and see if there are adjustment nuts to tighten up the cable or anything like that. Dont know the make and model but thats where i would start.

If its a cable clutch there is a "C" clip at the top of the cable where it goes thru the floor
