Don't zacherate lol . I never said "any" lol. I'm just talking about the ones I've tangled with, there may have only been a total of three lol . I then went on to point out that I have been burned off in that very car by a D4D hilux being very well piloted by someone that knew exactly where he was and exactly how to drive that particular road . but your right, there is a fair bit of digression, spring gales and all that psycho stuff, bloody weather lol

Fair call therafter1 :-)I admit I'm a bit protective of my favourite engines (V8's).Preferably mids 80's or earlier though (don't care what make).Character and grunt, but not generally cornering !

Exactly I figure if your on a bike your not contributing to congestion why take part in it

whqqsh, Sep 9, 5:59am
good on ya Doolittle, I usually move over a bit when theres room & its proper but some do get tooo cheeky & Ive let them know.
If you do catch up with him let us know the result. Ive caught up with ppl that have cut me off etc & the 'oh so innocent' look you get is an amazing change from the middle finger salute theyve previously exhibited

johnf_456, Sep 9, 10:07am
Agreed minus the language I removed, I also ride 2 wheel forms of transport as well. A lot of them appear to have a rather large serious attitude problem.

therafter1, Sep 9, 10:20am
I'm confused . by virtue of your very own postings on here over the years I had concluded that you were a sensible considerate careful driver/rider that was very safety conscious and abided by all rules and regulations at all times. And now you are saying you aren't all of those things.

And why would you bother editing certain words out of someone else's post ! . are you a catholic priest or some sort of message board caped crusader against others swearing !

johnf_456, Sep 9, 10:28am
I have no problem with swearing but swearing here will land you in the hot seat so better not to risk it. Many here have got caught on occasion so why would I put myself in that situation.

I am a very careful driver but from driving around Auckland I have encounted many motorcyclists with a attitude problem, especially with the whole cage driver mentality. I have had similar cases to the one like the OP has had, even ones that run red lights and you have to stop on the green to wait for them to go. Then you toot to say "oi", and they get abusive and start bashing on windows cause someone challenged their ego.

By all means share the road but if you want to weave in and out of traffic in peak hour etc, that I do have a problem with. I have even had my mirror knocked off in stationary traffic before, luckly I caught him filling up at the next servo so questioned him.

That's right^.
Probly :)

jmma, Sep 9, 10:34am
Probably (o:

therafter1, Sep 9, 10:44am
I repeat, why would you care if others swear, it isn't your problem !

And why would you care that there are swear words in a post you quote, it is still their post not yours, therefore it is them that are accountable for the words used in the post that you quoted, not you !

And I'm really surprised that you came back with a horror story about your personal experiences with all of these scary hairy bikers that are terrorising Auckland commuters on a daily basis. I better make sure that I stay out here in sticksville and never have to live in scary places like Auckland where you have all of these bikers with attitude problems as I may have to follow them somewhere and interrogate them about their attitude !

johnf_456, Sep 9, 10:47am
Because posting others swearing comments trademe may pin you on it, I have seen it done before even if you quoted someone else. So why put yourself in risk of getting on the hot seat, easier not to get into that situation to start with. I have a few sad people that follow me around.

You also do not need to dramatize, not all of them are bad like you appear to imply but they do sadly exist. PS I drove both 4 wheel and 2 wheel modes of transport.

therafter1, Sep 9, 10:58am
Really, now you have created even more confusion and left me wondering WHY !

And, codswallop, you are not responsible for the contents of other peoples posts when you quote them !

johnf_456, Sep 9, 11:00am
I have no idea but they do and attempt to wind me up, try telling that to trademe. I have witness it myself of posts getting deleted when another member quoted another members swearing post.

Why risk it

therafter1, Sep 9, 11:00am
You stated that at # 136 . did you forget !

johnf_456, Sep 9, 11:01am
Just reminding you in case you forgot, no warnings here so intend on keeping it that way.

therafter1, Sep 9, 11:03am
Yay, you win . again.

I'm stumped and all I can think of in reply is LOL

That way I won't get a MB holiday anyway lol

therafter1, Sep 9, 11:06am
My memory is still good enough that something I have noted 40 odd minutes before is still reasonably well lodged between my ears somewhere lol

bellky, Sep 9, 11:17am
Actually I've heard you can be.

splinter67, Sep 9, 11:22am
Of course you have on one of your many phone calls to trade me

therafter1, Sep 9, 11:35am
Really !

I almost always invariably quote any posts that I respond to regardless of their content, and to date I haven't heard anything !

I would be extremely curios as to how anyone could be held accountable for the contents of someone else's post !

bellky, Sep 9, 11:43am
Wrong again dud. I've never phoned TM ever.

Edited to change fool to dud.

bellky, Sep 9, 11:46am
Noone cares.

therafter1, Sep 9, 11:49am
No no no no no mate, our John simply does not contradict himself EVER !

Only when it suits lol
