Motorcycles can lane split even when all the traffic is doing 80 km/hr, or so it seems. The white line is the lane for motorcycles no matter how much room there is between cars. Wearing leather pants gives you right of way.

If he stopped or slowed down long enough to whack your bonnet that would've been more than enough time to get his rego. I'm not doing what these plonkers are doing and saying you were at fault (lane splitting is illegal, no matter that its worthwhile) but doing a formal complaint is infinitely better than coming in here and moaning about him.

I came here to let off steam.(as we sometimes do). I didnt get his rego as he took-off as soon as he could & it did cross my mind(for a split second) to ram or clip him but I probably would have also upset the Audi driver in front of me.
