Yes Exactly . I tried to be proactive but it was SHUT. Perhaps someone should invent a FREE TxT reminder service that TxTs you as you go through the toll - now that would be cool.

Yes and don't forget the other option is Going to post office in YOUR own time, finding a park, standing in the queue with all the people send biscuits to their aunty in England for XMAS.And pay a fee to pay the FEE.

If you were actually proactive you would have found out that you can set up a toll road account online that can be direct credited from your bank account, without the need for credit card.
Tolls should be paid before your travel but you can pay up to 5 days after the trip is taken before you will receive a toll payment notice which will contain a $4.90 administration charge on top of your tolls.
Write them a snail mail if you still demand satisfaction, sir.

Vic roads used to send out a warning notice for driving on their ringroad leaving Melbourne $141 fine no toll booths or any sign of a payment system when you come off the boat from Tassie got 3 warning letters still dont know how to pay.
