Just got news that a couple of bikers (motorcyclists) have been killed in the naki this morn'. And at least 15 taken out by a van. Nothing confirmed yet as i just this minute got the news talking to a mate who was on the ride.

Apparently a van pulled out of side road. Rescue helicopter has been over my place twice now. I'm on direct line from crash site to base hospital so not looking good.

Blimin heck, if that spot is where I think it is, that piece of road is clear & straight. Wonder where the van come from to get in the way, there are some roads off on each corner around that way. Sounds like its either just between the over bridge & the factory or factory & the next straight (past the radio tower)

Google mapped it,just barely before the factory. Van must have come out from either the factory or Ketemarae road which runs beside the factory

gee I wonder if this person even been on a motorbike! Id rather ride than sit in a cage anyday, most motorbike accidents happen .are caused by car drivers , ive almost been taken out by twice by cars not giving way.
