TOTALLY >>>> YEP ^^^ ^ ^ Been there done that, doing that teaching bit (when the teens clay ear plugs are out). Would LOVE to get back on a bike but can't trust my balance at speed on a bike now),
Yep lost a few mates on the road as well, some hurt badly because it wasn't their fault Some not so bad because they were simply 'asking' for it, still hurts but at least the reason is a little more understandable & their choice.
This wasn't the choice of the bikers so hurts a whole lot more even without knowing any of them.

Drive north, along the Auckland Southern motorway any day of the week ,and see the F/wits on motor bikes, weaving in and out of traffic, making their own lane ,between vehicles, one dickhead hit my mirrorand broke it, didn`t bother stopping, i wish to hell that he had fallen off.

There is ALWAYS going to be idiots who let the side down. I commuted in Auckland for years on my motorbikes - lane splitting. It was / is an economical and fast way to get around. Better than being in another car clogging up the roadways.

Yes, for sure you get guys being F/wits on there bikes and one day they may get a fright or worse when it goes haywire. BUT, you get people being F/wits in cars, trucks, busses, push bikes, skate boards and for that matter anything with wheels. You also get F/wits on the rugby, soccer, cricket, baseball, netball, tennis courts and fields. In fact anywhere and anything a human is invloved with will have F/wits amoung it.Which is a shame as those types ruin it for the rest. But don't worry when they come to grief from there own F/wittacy the snivel and cry worse than the rest as well.
