splinter67, Dec 30, 11:50am
Hell there will have to be a casting for that role there are a few that qualify for that

trader_84, Dec 30, 12:02pm
Chur bro, I hear you and agree. Risk aversion runs rampant through here . and common sense seems to take a back seat when the wowsers start to throw all sorts of scary arsed scenario's around - gawd. I do heaps of different things because I know that I ain't delivering babies, performing open heart surgery or sending someone to the moon. I look at pimply arsed apprentices and knarly old mechanics and tell myself - 'Frick - if they can do it - so can I'

icemans1, Dec 30, 12:04pm
get workshop manual - read and follow instructions - replace brake pads. how hard is that!

splinter67, Dec 30, 12:08pm
Thats the kiwi attitude pity we seem to be loosing it oh well never mind have a great new year trader84

johnf_456, Dec 30, 12:12pm
good on ya, that's the attitude. Sadly thatthought is disappearing in nz, with people saying only the pros should do everything!

kazbanz, Dec 30, 12:17pm
Splinter-Just to explain mon. THAT is the line TM won't allow us to cross.
We can offer advise on here but aren't allowed to actually physically help.
I'm not saying this to rark you up because I fairly famously got in a whole heap of trouble a couple of years back.
The situation was that a ladies lil kid spilled a whole bottle of choc milk into the back seat of her car.
I offered to wash the seat with my cleaning machine.TM were told and I got in a heap of trouble.
Keep in mind I'm not a car groomer so had no possible gain by helping her out.
The TM argument is that its to protect their buisiness. But what the person who informed TM had to gain I can't fathom.

icemans1, Dec 30, 12:20pm
pretty sad getting penalised for helping others mate

johnf_456, Dec 30, 12:20pm
Well said kazbanz

jmma, Dec 30, 12:22pm
$1 buynow auction, just saying (o:

johnf_456, Dec 30, 12:24pm
Still not legit. You can't reference your own auctions as well it's advertising / self promotion

mugenb20b, Dec 30, 12:24pm
Doesn't matter. Don't get involved.

johnf_456, Dec 30, 12:26pm
it does actually

icemans1, Dec 30, 12:26pm
flies under the radar.

mugenb20b, Dec 30, 12:27pm
Not to you.

splinter67, Dec 30, 12:27pm
The easy way to get round that kazz is to start an auction for the person you want to help then tm make their money out of it and they are happy its a pity that this has to happen when some of us would go and help others just to be helpful oh well the christmas grinches win again

youse fellas type too fast lol

sabbath-black, Dec 30, 12:27pm

johnf_456, Dec 30, 12:30pm

sabbath-black, Dec 30, 12:32pm
