So did you watch it last night if so youd know that putting money on a team thats not in the final is not wise. As for the allstars being crap they put on a good show they weren't the team with no cars finishing like some other teams. Sadly there are no teams racing cups on my mantle but it was fun doing it and no my car was not a $10000 shitter and yes I would love to set the dragracing scene on fire we will see when its finished hopefully sooner rather than later.

yeah we watched it but i don't recall much of the racing as we were, well. drinking and giving each other shit all night long. there was stockcar drivers, speedway, drag and offroad lads here. i won't mention names 'cos i now know you hate name droppers.I'm trying to get my car finished in time for the fathers day drags (only a street car, 429 big block XE falcon). The motor is hanging on the hoist in front of the car (has been for 3 weeks now) and i should be putting it in today but due to the effects of last night i just cant be bothered, maybe tomorrow but i think tonight is going to be a continuation of last night. go on, spill the beans, what are you building ! I have a vague recollection of you bagging fords so i think it is a chevy of some sort

i hope you have a big budget, to build enough power to push a heavy car with the aerodynamics of a brick along. we ended up going out for dinner last night, so didn't book it. Panthers win !

Panthers mustangs final panthers won. GB raced the hawkeyes for 5th & 6th gb got 6th after only having 3 cars to race. A great nights racing some of the calls from the refs where a bit strange but anyone thats been there will expect that And yup hopefully enough power you have 2 more cubes than me but I have the dissy at the correct end of the motor and that helps lol

yeah a couple of year ago a panther car (i think it was Rees) rolled over and landed on his wheels, red light came on, car fired up, and the let him continue. i chose the XE 'cos it is the lightest falcon and it is the cheapest falcon, im doing my build on a shoestring budget, but still want low 12s., only downfall is the coil sprung rear end. A leaf sprung nine inch is cheap, my mate has a pro stock 55, fibreglass tilt front, tubbed, grannysmith green. i think it BB powered too.

It was a good 2 nights.
A pity all those green envy'd visitors have to boo the Panther's - they looked the best team right from their first race, and look what's lining up to replace them. But if you weren't there, you won't know or understand.
They explained the ruling on the Rees thing from last year.

We couldn't hear the pa where we ended up but that was a good thing. The calls that were a bit dodgy were not involving the panthers this year. Here are two examples you might have heard why Dion Mooney was removed on the first night and Horses tank on the second night. All and all a great weekend of racing at least the hawkeyesare seeded for next year I think that 5th was a bit of a ripoff especially seeing as we won the same amount of races as the panthers

But there's a difference between winning and scoring - you just didn't score enough. And you can thank the Panthers for that cruise into 5th place. Even though you almost stuffed it up by being too kind to the battered POME's.
There were a lot of nervous Panther's around me before the show. There's some good teams out there, and they know it.

Cruise to 5th place now thats a joke ask Mike mac or Jason P if it was a cruise. I think you mean panther supporters when I spoke with Shane Penn he wasn't nervous infact I have to go to his business today I will tell him you think he was nervous should be a great laugh

You don't have to think man - you are dead right, it was the supporters who were nervous.
