Petition to Bri g back Clarkson. It allows you to show your reason if you choose, so if like me you don't support violence but still think this is overly strict before proper procedure is followed, you can show support.
THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR DEBATE ABOUT WHETHER YOU LIKE HIM, THERE IS ANOTHER FOR THAT!

Maybe he doesn't like the BBC and wanted to get fired. He had already sold all his stake in the program a couple years earlier.

please count this as a no.

he still owns all the merchandising rights
stevo2,

Obviously not a car guy. You want yet another cooking show or another so called talent show instead?

Imagine what organizations with ill intent, could do with this brand new, updated list of 600,000+ names and email addresses.

Create a gmail address or a hotmail address and only use it the once or keep it for anything that demands an email address but you don't really want to give one!

No from me, he allows to much of his own bias when it comes to cars and never admits it when he's wrong. I'd rather watch James May as he has an understanding of how it works, has a sharp mind and doesn't need to tell the same jokes every three episodes.

nah, any big girls blouse that throws a tanty because they didn't get their din-dins doesn't get any support from me.

Top gear iusnt a car show any more, it is a (weak) comedy with cars as props!

Im sure hed get a sizable severance deal & then he could go to another network & start again , dont know wether may & Hammond would follow BBC probably got their contracts sewed up . jeez we NEED top gear Tv would be completly boring without it we all throw a wobbly now & again when stressed .

Why oh why do people feel the need to post a NO here? This is merely pointing to a petition and if you don't enjoy Clarkson or topgear I'm damned if I know why you watch it or take the time to comment.

It's just a comedy show with a viewing carrot of good cars, as far as I'm concerned. budge already said that! It finishes up not much different than those Storage War loads of BS.
I don't mind him, but I think he's a dick whenever he blows hot air up a car just coz it's made by Pome's.
He's made his bed, so he has to dump himself in it.

Probably because it's a public MB and he is just expressing his view, Chill, nothing worth getting worked up about. (o:

what about the car guys that think his stupidiy ruins the show ?
socram,

I've been a car guy since I was 18 months old and apparently could recognise every car on the road.
I was also brought up on ancient comedy from Popeye to Laurel and Hardy and to the Marx Brothers.
Why can't we just accept that Clarkson has a comedy show with cars? It has never, ever set out to be a serious car programme for the enthusiast.
He ranks highly IMHO as a comedian and comedy writer. He found his niche just as Tommy Cooper found his niche as a bumbling magician. The laughs and stupidity are what makes the show unique but it revolves around JC. It doesn't ruin the show for me as the comedy comes first.

My wife hates cars but enjoys Top gear.

So Clarkson IS on the move. So who will employ a sexist, racist, dinosaur? Well UKIP is looking for a chauffeur for Nigel, and the new Jurassic Park 4 film are looking for extras. Or how about a stunt double for jabba the hut in the Star Wars film?

Don't think lack of employment would bother him one little bit somehow, and if one believes what one reads he has had offers already. Dinosaurs (well the big ones) were made extinct thousands of years ago yet they seem to as popular as ever

No and don't watch him.

BBC think they can still make Top Gear without him. They are right, they can, but will anyone watch it?
salniamh,
Mar 15, 3:22pm
I imagine so, if they like cars.
offrd1,
Mar 15, 4:19pm
