bump any update. i am inclined to get hilti only problem there is they are not tailored to automotive but construction.
also my last post was in relation to the deleted members post.

Sorry dude but I agree wholeheartedly with what he posted.
Its kinda like--"Its all good until suddenly it isn't" You could make 100 or 1000 cuts sweet as but one day it will bite.

mat-You may be right in that a heck of a lot of that stuff is being made by the TTI group. (tti.com ) and im told batteries etc swap from MW to AEG
My only hesitation is that the Chinese do seem to be able to "build to a price " so componentry can be lighter/cheaper or in the case of the motor less powerful. is there any way to do a real world back to back comparison of say the 3/8 wrench?

#49 i know you can get 50$ us makita clones look the same and i seen they do list 3 or 3 quality ones for more money better quality. the issue is will you get a better quality clone when you pay more. As more and mor stuff whole cars are made with random low grade stuff.
ave just uploaded the clone ones started smoking one after another , so if you buy 3 clones for the price of 1 thats good value for money but not if they all go up in smoke and you have 3 broken to pay on top to dispose off in the trash. you then have nothing and you paid close to the price of the 1 supposedly good one.

with all respect, what dickhead would use a grinder to cut a swaybar, i bet they were under tension when the job started, and why cut one at all? they are bolted in . i'm suggesting they wernt using the right tool for the job AND didnt have a great deal of knowledge or experince.

bigfatmat1, Oct 15, 6:51pm
yeah so much tension on a sway bar lol.

kazbanz, Oct 15, 8:18pm
Sorry dude but I go back to my original statement. All it takes is a faulty disk,a disk that's been damaged in transit, one unexpected moment and its all over. I've seen it time and time again. Strangely its older more experienced guys that seem to get complacent and get hurt more than newer guys.

paul861, Oct 15, 8:35pm
if the vehicle isnt on a jack or axle stands .

bigfatmat1, Oct 15, 11:04pm
lol yeah so much tension. Btw I must be a dickhead cause I have cut sway bar links off many a time. Enlighten us on the correct tool that takes off a swaybar link that turns inside itself and has a stuffed nut and hex

No its not.

I think what he means is they all have the same parent company so the technology will be shared. Aeg Milwaukee ryobi and homelite

bigfatmat1, Oct 18, 8:51am
Anyway I bought the aeg impact gun its a machine. Snapped a couple of 16mm bolts off in a towbar tongue the other day. The best function is the auto tight for wheel nuts no more grabbing the torque wrench out

i think i order this one. i got 2 batterys from 2014 and a drill from cash converter for 303$ no charger the 12 volt car charger only list as available in stralia. i sure want one of them to charge batts mobile.

only time i need massive torque is to open harmonic balancer bolts

it came down to milwakee or dewalt or the Aeg but if the battery dont fit a milwalkee etc. then its not a ideal option as i dont want to find out a tool fails in a few years. Also the dewalt my mate loves them his vibrator tool died just out of warranty . The reason however i wanted dewalt was the flex volt battery. BUT exactly that is the reason i dont want dewalt.
Say what . first he said he wanted it becaus of it then he dont because of it.
Right let me explain. the reason i wanted it is the higher the voltage the more chooch you get from it its why electric cars are like 300 to 480 volts.
Now why dont i want it ?
because the battery managment is corner cutting for the flexvolt battery.
A cell has to be independent monitored and charged and balanced= tesla are one of the worlds best to do this. Nissan leaf one of the absolute worst of all.
The problem with this flex volt seems to be the 18 or 20 volt drains one half of the pack and it wont rebalance the 54 volt pack if it is way out of ballance . killing the pack. As where i did hear hilti have ultimative good battery managment and they are 22 volt . So considering all the factors i get hilti. Just like i went and got a 300$ flashlight because it works as new after 6 years still.
Same issue are on them high voltage lithium jumpstarter packs.
There is 3 pouches of 4.7 or so volt in series inside them to charge they only charge monitor the outer 2 and the middle one is self balancing.
only problem is that lithium dont self balances well.
So it became out of balance puffed up and leaked and melted the link to the other packs. corner cutting R&D that is.
From the homegamer stuff i had 4 drills about 50 bux they all had battery die so i converted one to run of a wire with 12 volt car battery but. then the rachet function of the sewer pipe onhanglow plastic started retcheting because it was crumbling A part . So i biffed all garbage as enough is enough. no more trash or potential trash. these tools cost me the same as the hilti drill i just got from 2014 . and i recon the hilti is probably still fine in 10 years form now.

i got the hilti demo model with 8 amp battery and mains and 12 volt car charger for 1300 something . the new 800NM model 3/4 inch hope it will open any harmonic balancer bolts

*61 that thing is trash . i know a wopee weed smoker who had one it worked , then after 10 times it cracked A part. The way it works it spins a mass and at full speed a pin lets it smack one time against a waight thats attachedt to the socket. . Then it spinns up again for 10 secounds and whacks it again Till the wheel nut is open. or the tool falls apart
