Am currently looking at altezzas, love the look of them, wanting something under or around 8 grand, that looks good, and doesnt chew through too much gas. black or white would be nice, but am open to most colours. Thanks

Altezza is a good vehicle generally, but they are expensive for what they are.

I must admit they do look nice, can be bit thirsty depending on how heavy your foot is though :-)
They are sooooo ugly, I can't stand the look of them - but yeah, cheap to run.

Damn, had I known that'd I'd have had the wife in one already! Bit limited in choices though, Cima my only option! With a $160 fill she'd need to do around 850 km's to a tank to be anything like comparable.

What about a Honda Torneo - look nice with a decent set of mags, good price for low km's.

That thing is over 20 years old, rubber deteriorates after 20 years and the boots on ball joints, bushings, engine mounts etc start failing.

I would have thought the 1.5 is a tad gutless as well!

Another vote for MX5 here - like driving a go kart :-)
Hard top would be nice - don't have to worry about the tops leaking.
