Im told a 4speed box asfitted toXD Falcon will go behind a V8 with the right bell housing etc asthey have a long shaft. Anyoneknow better!

Not particularly, a Toyota W five speed would be better or ultimately a New Process four speed Mopar box. I believe some T10s were used behind Mopar V8s as well. Oops, mixed reply to two posters. edit.

Unless its ahotV8 go for the5speed supra conversionas all in 1 kitbut have to convert to hydraulic clutchso needresevior& pedal . I did my XD van in 85by Graham Berrywith the origonalcable clutch & modifiedarm but cable keptbraking so after 3 cableswent to hyd . Drive shaft needs to bemodified to.
