Yeh used to work for Honda when these were new so can usually tell the different spec from the outside. The fact that you have chrome door trims made me think it was a VTi-S lol. I put on some factory alloys off a VTi-S to dress it up a little. Does your VTi have dual airbags as mine is a September 1997 build and first registered in December 1997. In 1998 Honda called the VTi the VSi which had the dual airbags and colour coded bumper mouldings and sill mouldings. It was about this time the Lxi gained a drivers airbag also. Early VTi Accords had just the driver airbag

My 98 Accord was assembled here (the newer model) however my 2002 (same model) V6 was Thai, I now have the V8 VE Calais, and I can tell you Scotty is wrong, I have had both and the Honda was vey well put together, better quality than the Holden, just not as fast or as nice. Of course I prefer the Holden, but I could not fault the Accord.

Yeah, but his L67 would kick my L98 6.0L V8, it only does 5.6s to 100, his is so fast it's in negative seconds.

that pic flatters it, but it has just come back from panel beater. Will use it for summer then imagine I'll list it for sale - should be a good buy for a hobbyist - rock solid, no rust, but needing interior cosmetics and maybe rings to reduce oil use. Hoping I might get 6k. fair!

Sounds fine to me. Now there are almost none that turn up for under that figure.

Nah, just one airbag for driver. No cruise control. Pretty standard. Gradually 'pimping it out'. Did the door trims. Did the tints. Going to get some springs at some point and some nice 17" wheels, probably those nice BBS ones.
