Possibly an air leak somewhere - as you changed the air filter, probably something to do with that.Open the air filter housing, check gaskets are in place, filter is seated, hoses you might have bumped all attached properly.

lose exhaust manifold to engine bolts, or lose turbo to manifold bolts.
