Dying leather seats, is there a DIY product.

Have leather seats in my car, didnt really want them but begining to live with them. They have minor discoloration from wear. Gone greenish as apposed to black.
Is there a good leather dye DIY product you know of that actually works!

Spray a bit of black paint on them, they'll be sweet as.

The product to use is SEM Colorcoat. You can brush it on with care.

Panelbeaters Supplies in Auckland used to stock it.

I know it can be done bit as said is there a DIY product.

gunhand-change your thinking to leather JACKET rather than seats.
Youll likely find products to color those much more readilly available.

Got one of those to, over 20 years old and still looks good.
HMMMM ok ill do that. Might go see a saddle person or the likes.

yea--I think you use leather restorer first then a color then a coating over the top

My wife got a dye thing for some shoes. Buggered if I know where she got it, but it was leather, plastic, etc.

You should use a leather dye prep, or a deglazer to clean the surface.Then you use leather dye followed by a top coat to seal it.
Fiebings have all that, and are a professional range.
