Umm. Well, at the risk of being a nerd I shall attempt to get this thread back into its intended track with a serious suggestion rather than an all-in sh!tfight.
I would like to shout out for mgmad and socram for giving decent genuine advice to those of us silly enough to purposely own a car with a Rover K-series engine in it. You guys rock, thanks!

+1 You advice/help has no doubt helped people pre-empt and circumnavigate the shortcomings of the K Series and enjoy some properly fun cheap to buy cars. Might even pick up a MGF myself for a project and some fun sometime.
