I think I have settled on the Honda Accord Euro, they sound like a good value for money car but they do seem rather pricy. Am not sure if I can get a decent age at my budget of $10k.

it's the auction number. just cut and paste that number into the search bar and it will bring up the car.

Remind me who you are a qualified mechanic for or which dealerships you have worked as a mechanic at. As for the OP, go out and start test driving. Once you have tracked down something you like start doing your homeork reguarding reliability fuel economy etc. Ask the dealership mechanics about regular problems rather than trusting too much of what you read on here. My experiance, 20+ years as a mechanic for Suzuki Holden Alfa Fiat Yugo Subaru Chev Pontiac Roots Group Mitsubishi Dodge Chrysler Mercedes Jeep Great Wall Isuzu and a few others. What I own, Suzuki Swift and Commodore ute

That's quite a lot of car for the money. Definitely worth a look.

I imagine being a mechanic for Yugo must have been the highlight of your career.
