Have you owned it for two years! Dunno if that rule applies to 30+ year old vehicles but its basically the first thing you have to tick off when shipping a car to Australia.

Very true ,you will also have to get the "mod plate" re done upon putting it over the pits in aussie. They charge between $90-120 AU for 1 modification,but you can put on more than 1 mod for the same price. depending on which state you are going to as the laws differ between states.

Don't import a car to Queensland then try and register it in NSW. If fact, don't do it all. I am speaking from personal experience. Unless it's an extra special car - but one there.

If it has a later model engine it will have to comply with the emmision standards for that model.

pretty sure they will want the car to be in standard spec or you will have to pass the emissions test which is extremely costly to get a rotary through it.

Probably better to try and track one down the same over there in Australia tho they could be rather scarce there as they are getting here.Bit like "Rocking Horse Shite" mate know what I mean! Frankly there are far better cars over there than those crap "brap brap" machines anyway .why even bother !
