I have a 2001 Holden Astra and it has just started shuddering on acceleration and not being very responsive. Any ideas on what this could be! Thank you.

If it's auto maybe get the trans fluid checked for level/condition.

it's running on 3 cylinders probably caused by faulty HT lead, suppressor or spark plug.

I have a earlier model one, suffered from many electronic issues but also vacuum problems. Did the check light come on on it's dash!If it did then your best bet would be to get someone to check the code and give you answer rather than a guess.

I have had vehicles do that due to bad leads or plugs, which led to a blown power pack. Also a vacuum leak on a fuel injection manifold gasket.
