Will post this in parenting as well. Don't want a 7 seater that puts one child in the back and takes up the boot space. TIA.

I hope you are having a laugh. A commodore is a much better choice.

Commodore takes three car seats.
Dunno about Falcons, never tried, but probably.
Few cheap Commie wagons around now too.

I admit the Fiat is not an attractive wee vehicle. Curlcrown - can you suggest a type of Commodore! I'm guessing not all of them would be wide enough.

Anything from VT-VZ, IIRC, is the same size inside. Which is about 1998-2006ish
I had a VY2, which fit three seats across the back. VZ is the same inside.
The newer/lower Ks you can afford, the better.
What's your budget!

I am not convinced these days with old commodore blowing head gaskets as a norm. But in saying that they are my preerence. have a look at my advert.I've got a great Futura that would fit the bill lovely.

But its not the norm! you hardly ever hear about commodores blowing headgaskets. Even the mechanics (on here) that have fixed a few cracked heads on them admit that its pretty rare given the number of them on the roads.
