Upgraded to triple carbs! I thought they were a PITA for getting out of tune with each other. My dad used to have triple carbs, 20% of the time it ran great all of the time.

Common misconception with SUs, they seldom go out of tune with each other. They're often put that way by owners trying to fix another running problem cos they heard the carbs are the cause, when they're often not.

The triple carbs on that TR6 are Dellortos.
And yes that is an "upgrade", it may not go any faster than a PI TR6, but at least it will be easier to fault-find when she doesn't want to go.
