I am sure you can buy non head rest covers from either Super cheap or Repco.
As for the back seat it clips into special floor clips.you will need to get between the seat and jam yourself behind the front seat to push it backward and downward. They are quite hard to push in.

yup the back seat is a mongrel alright, try and try again, as said back and down from front seat to back, its a mish but you will get it eventually, just make sure youve done all you need to before you do it.
