I figure there must be a few people with good painting skills in the Wellington area who could do with some extra dollars. I've had quotes from paint shops ranging from ridiculous to telephone numbers for what I consider a straight forward job. On top of that most of them put insurance and repair jobs first so this would be a "when we get a chance" job.
So. The car is a SWB 1991 300ZX T-Top. Currently has custom paint which is an acquired taste - I just have a different taste. Body is straight with just one tiny dimple in the left rear guard. What I want to do is have it resprayed in black and achieve a high quality finish - exterior, door jams, engine bay - essentially make it look like it came from the factory. Car would be supplied with engine removed, interior removed - just a rolling shell.
So, if you are keen to throw some prices at me go for gold. My only requirements would be a quality finish and that it is able to be completed quickly.
