Sorry i haven't updated this. yeah it arrived yesterday afternoon along with 20+ more cars so your cars should get there by Monday, Tuesday the latest. ;)

murdoko, May 22, 12:31am
Cheers man. I had a quick drive yesterdayaround the parking lot and oooooOOO it sounded awesome with a full HKS Exhaust! Didn't know the big LCD screen is touch screen. too bad its Japanese. I noticed a few aftermarket bits too like a full carbon front grille. And bodykit is actually TRD. SCOOOREEE!;)

Oh I was unloading some stuff at auckland docks recently and might of seen this among the other cars. I was however more interested in the R32 with the RB26dett, the guys at the wharf gave it shit when they picked it up lol. They tore past the weigh station for the trucks on full spool.

That's pathetic, My 7 of TF were cleared off wharf Thurs arvo and in Tga 8am Fri. 5 now complied and other two had bumper scuffs done.

we imported our 2nd impala used a different shipping co from the states, the dodgy shits filled the boot with parts for someone else.Customs never checked the boot and everything flew through, no charges for any of the parts etc, maf inspected it etc etc.Guess someone is waiting for the parts.Although makes up for the damage they caused to the car with forklift. fun!

neo_psy, May 27, 3:12am
Yeah - that's not that unusual.

Except that MAF are meant to look in the boot when they do their inspection, so it's a bit strange that MAF didn't pick up the parts (Customs isn't entirely unexpected).

Except that they probably did see them and part of your inspection fee covered the parts - since MAF charge by the hour (well, by the quarter-hour).

Did you put a claim in for the damage! Good way of getting a settlement if you hold (someone else's) parts from the forwarder.

oh yeah I got it complied and rego'd (started a new thread regarding emission tests coz it failed the first time around). Turns out they tested it when it was cold. Just needed a good hard run to pass it.

Pretty much everything happened earlier today so I havent opened it up yet. will do soon probably this weekend. It is touch screen by the way. The touch screen is separate from everything else (DVD and headunit). There's definitely an AUX option when you press TV button twice.

Also during compliance, I had to argue not to remove the TRD auxiliary lights because there were two sets on the car (one on the TRD bumper and one on the headlights). The compliance guyz thought it was aftermarket. I told them it was a TRD bumper and that was an option from new. There's also a factory switch inside to switch between the two of them. Can use both sets at one time. Convinced them eventually. phew!

Oh and by the way, the car is awesoooome! I couldn't think of anything better for the price. Definitely a keeper.
