i have a p10 primera with a sr20de. when driving the oil pressure gauge reads between 1 and 2, kg/cm2. i dont know what it is supposed to read. but tonight i was watching it and it went down to zero and stayed there for a while and then jumped back up to 2 kg/cm2. do you thing the gauge is faulty or the oil pressure switch faulty! iturned engine off and a minute later i started it up, the light goes out soon as engine started.

Did the red light come on when the gauge went down! As far as i know they are wired separately so if the red light didn't come on the gauge may be faulty, they are never accurate anyways lol

as per above!. normal would be 3 to 4 maybe 2 to 2.5 in idle minimum if the gague was working correvct. did you check the engine oil level also of the engine!

LATE REPLY. still does it. the oil pressure light doesnt come on. and doesnt leak oil/ oil level is at full mark. i disconnected the O P S, then reconnected. it read at 4 when it was cold but started to play up.
