Car cover - non-woven polypropolene

I have used one of these on my car occasionally. But no more! The cover leaves a gritty substance on the paint work. And this takes either much hand pressure or a cut and polish to remove it.I would list the manufacturer's name if it was displayed but I thought I should list a warning on this type of cover.
Made in China and purchased at a Cheap Auto outlet, if that helps. No criticism of the the outlet - they replaced one which blew to pieces within a week of purchasing. And yes, I followed the instructions.

Yep, though not all that cheap.Bought the top of the range in the shop - actually not easy to find a quality cover.

Have had the Beamer cut and polished but the grit from this Chinese car cover is embedded in the paint.Serious issue.

The BMW cover is $477 delivered.
