!HELP PLEASE! My jeep has issues. When driving down the road it starts to back fire and fart around then it will come right for a while then do it again. Its worse when driving around town, On the open the its good or you dont notice it as much. Its hasn't lost any power. Love it to drive. please help Thanks

It could be a dying airflow meter. Get it into the dealers for a diagnostic plug in, and don't listen to Ginga ever.

Agree they diagnostic check by the dealer will pin point the problem. On the down side Jeep parts are not cheap

Hence the "run for the hills" part I had to fix one and replace the steering column on one, the dealer almost decided to wreck it instead as the new steering column was soo expensive (stolen and recovered, needed new steering column, switches, and ign switch and a few other bits)

They are not cheap if you settle for rip of NZ rrp prices. Even buying off ebay with the exchange rate and shipping will see you better off. than buying here. Failing that there are plenty of spares around for them if you want to settle for 2nd hand.
