Kawasaki Ninja Overheating

I have a 2008 kawasaki ninja 250r. It has recently started to over heat when riding. It only does it occasionally and it is usually after around 10-15km of travel. Any ideas of what the problem could be. The coolant levels are fine and I recently changed the oil.

and how slow are you moving! they need a fair bit of air flow ya know!

one would think a blowen head gasket but seems to newer bike to do that. is your fan working on it!

just normal speed limit.not crawling or anything. Will check the fan but is it supposed to be on all the time or does it come on intermittently!

Hmmm, sounds like a faulty thermostat (which limits the amount of coolant being circulated), a crimped water hose, or, a dud water pump (hope not).

Fan shouldnt be on all the time unless its getting hot of course but if it dosnt cool the motor or shut off you have a problem. Useually they come on at traffic lights or going real slow or real hot day. On some bikes there is a tempeture switch thingy that may be stuffed. Not a big job and not expensive.
