What is the normal method of payment! They don't know me so it would seem strange to ask them to transfer that much money into my account! Any tips! Thanks

If they're coming to pick it up, cash or a bank draft. Also make sure they change the ownership before they come and get them to bring the receipt (will have a little tag like a vehicle tax disc stating it's been transfered into their name). Have known a few people get stung badly from parking/speed camera fines due to not checking.

Yep yep, I guess I'm too old fashioned for this net stuff lol. As long as you know they've done it being the main point, just don't take their word.

cash or internet transfer is what Ive dealt with and had no problems also bank cheques as well

Cash, Bank cheque, or the internet transfer (if they go that way) showing in YOUR account, and the rego changed over . allBEFORE they drive off in it.
