I haven't seen one for a good few years, there used to beturquoise one in the Avondale area. Not an unattractive car but apparently they had a few undesirable handling traits.

there's a bike in E Hayes with a corvair engine. Looks ok too.

A guy called Ian Richardson raced a V8 engined one in the UK Super Saloons in the 1970s.

Ralph Nader (US) killed them off by saying they were dangerous.

there is one in New Plymouth, Actually saw it yesterday, driven by the wife of a w--ker who runs a truck repair outfit. he lost a monaro or a torana a while back, nicked out of a shed on a building site and was rather dodgy.

I'm sure I saw one on display at the Nelson Car Museum.

Yep, a tidy red one.

Fancy this coming up.
Was at the Stockcar Teams Champs in Palmy last weekend, and saw a blue one parked on the side of the road. Daughters partner made a distressed comment alluding to WTF was that!

Racing was far-out. Peter Rees would have put on the best display of teams racing that anyone could ever hope to see.Won his Palmy team the Champs, and himself the 'man of the match' equivalent.

Good motors for repowering the old VWs.
