Laurel electric issues

in the weekend when on the track the fuel pump and ecu fuse blew, put another fuse in then next time on the track happened again, figured out fuel pump had bad earth so fixed that, then next time on the track the fuse didnt blow but the engine started popping then cut out, now theres no spark, and even with the ignition off and keys out the dash lights and the ecu is still on. also just with the ignition on but engine not running the ignitor pack is getting so hot you cant touch it. Any ideas on what the problem could be!

Heck, I think you've got more than just a bad earth on your fuel pump.
By the sound of it the ECU is toast. Even with the key left on, the igniter packs should not get hot because the drive to them (usually transistor/MOSFET) is not turned on until the ECU is supplied with 'engine crank' signal and even then, they don't get turned on permanently. They are pulsed to create a spark.
I think it's going to be expensive.
