Have tried to get respondants to the ending of Commodores and Falcons in Australia. Does that mean that no more red and blue at Bathurst! Or maybe Taurus Vs Impala from 2015 on! Maybe they will let Nissan GTR or Honda NSX or even Jags or BMW M5's and Merc E63's, Audi RS6's!

Japanese V8s - Lexus might be OK by sitself.Nissan and Mitsi could amalgamate - 2 4cyl primera engines welded together coupled to a 6-speed CVT box with Mitsi's GDI fuel system.

They stops building Impala's in the mid '90's didn't they! Plus it would be the Crown victory for the Fords, I know they race the Taurus in NASCAR but when the tried to sell them here they were a flop.

Falcons and Commodores will be around till 2017+ so no worries for a while yet. Ford just got money ($100M) from the government till 2017 and the next new commodore after the Aussie 2013/4 one will be USA designed in 2019.
