I'm looking at a car for my wife but it's an actual auction and as buyer and seller aren't supposed to exchange contact details, does this mean I'd have to bid sight unseen!

People running auctions have the option of listing their contact details (phone number) have a look for that first.

It Is law in an auction to make goods a availble to be veiw before close of auction

The "normal" trade me auction rules do not apply toVehicle auctions. The seller can and most times does list their contact details and buyers are actively encouraged to inspect the vehicle before placing a bid.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
