Very nice but I'd still prefer a Boss 302, just for the nostalgia.

Meh. It won't hold that record for long and there'll be people that spaz out about the fact it has a blower.

"Production" is another contentious point. The ST1 by traditional terms isn't "production" but its still being "produced" and that has 1100hp out of a V8, same as the Weineck Cobra's etc.

GT1000 was announced a month or so ago. I was going to post it but I knew it would (somehow) turn into a Holden vs Ford vs some retard in a sub 200hp Rotary argument.

If you look on ebay, 1000+HP fords are pretty common with aftermarket stuff on them.

I have to wonder how well transmissions are tolerating this upsurge in horsepower and torque and if the full potential is ever reached.
It brings back to me what somebody said on here a couple of months ago, "it's more fun to drive a slower car as fast as it can go than drive a fast car slowly" or words to that effect.

^ yes it is, same with bikes.
I have more fun on an old 5hitter than I do on a whizz-bang 1100c rocket.

Nice donk. not too keen on the body it is wrapped in though.

Yeah all these retro cars,Challenger,Camaro & Mustang look far too bulky.

That's sad. It wouldn't even make a fun paddock thrasher. My old 1.3l barina could get more slideways & do a better skid than that.
