does any one know if a 351 cleveland will fit in a EB Fairmont and if the base plates out of a xf will fit a eb as well

yes you can fit a cleveland into an EB. no to the base plates. you will either have to custom make the mounts or use a factory V8 crossmember and the factory windsor engine mounts. The starter motor doesn't clear the steering so either a small reduction starter motor is required or you can use a passenger side starter motor bellhousing ( T5 ) or a custom made one for a C4 from Castlemaine Rod Shop or Dellow in Aust.

Dellow do custom make, just have to price it up and see if it is viable to do.
