anyone here fitted 14x8 tridents onto a ef fairmont! did they fit over the brakes okay!

kinda lol the got 17s on it but tyres are a bit shot, tridents are sitting there doing nothing so why not i guess

mmmm i dont think 14's will go on an ef. i think they changed the brakes on the ef so that the minimum fit was 15".why the hell would you want toput piddly ass 14's on an ef anyway.my god get some decent wheels.14" wheels woul look STOOOOOPID on an EF anyway

+1000, non period mags like Tridents look silly on anything newer than an XF, its the same with putting 20" chromes on an XY.Some ignoramuses (yourself excuded obviously)don't realise that EF onwards were intended to run on 15" minimum, they can't be just "chucked on".You'd have to grind the brake calipers in order to get them to fit, at least on the rear anyway.
