Can anybody give me a lead or "hook me up ow" to a one-way rental from New York to L.A.The ones I have looked at online give me a price of say $780 bux plus 1250 bux to return it. You cannot tell me that the bigger companies return them and not just add them to the fleet to rent out again from L.A. Any "informed" comments please or give me your experience please, cheers.

That's normal pricing if you make a reservation. Only a few companies do one way hires and you'll need to dial their 1800 number when you are ready to go. Depending on demand for cars at the receiving end the rate can be most reasonable. I've used National several times.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
