Hey there guys. Haven't had one of these in awhile, and being motoring enthusiasts I'm sure some of you have some new rides to show off :P

Still got the old Accord .

Actually a bit of a rant, today I was carrying a lawnmower in the back of it when some tardhat pulled out in front of me. Jammed on the picks, landed up getting hit in the back of the head with the lawnmower and sideways on the roundabout. Was quite mad.

had the same with my mig welder, loaned to a workmate (happy to pick up from home when he needed it but only returned it to work), driving home, had to jump on the brakes, welder goes over & smashed the gauges, havent checked other damage yet. thats the last time, my stuff always come home worse than it left. no good deed goes unpunished

similar story, had 3 cleveland motors and a falcon 9" on a trailer. not tied down as i was just going 5 minutes up the road to wash world to waterblast them. left washworld heading towards busy greenlane intersection and some asian decides to change lanes and cut me off, i hit the brakes and one of the cleveland long motor (no carb or dissy) slides/rolls forward, pops the front tailgate board out, rolls off the drawbar onto the road.Panic starts to set in, I don't need a ticket for unsecure load, A big island guy stops and we lifted it back on the trailer in one go. and those donks are bloody heavy, must have been an adrenalin rush, couldn't lift one of those again if i tried

Mmm thats nice. Always wanted one of these skylines.

whqqsh, May 18, 8:46pm
if youve got anything decent Id seriously consider photoshopping your number plate out before posting anywhere but especially on here

hey Jason, did you fix your off idle stumble! i see you have a single plane intake manifold, they're a common cause of the stumble you described.

got my car back on the road yesterday. still need a few little things sorted out. like the timing. No markings on the balancer, its been painted to many times, Thought about starting motor up and getting under neath it with some sandpaper to clean it up but it is easy to go buy a new SFI approved balancer, as im stock piling goodies for to build a strong 351 or 393 motor. And im suspect about the dizzy, or maybe a stretched timing chain. I will go get some 98 octane gas in it today and try again. When i enquires on here about the procomp dizzy someone said they couldn't get consistant timing on theirs and junked it in the end. I normally can get the timing pretty spot on without a timing light

Cuda , i've got the same slight stumble off idle at the moment, i'm using my 750 edelbrock that i bought for the good motor, it may be just a bit to much for the stock motor, and im using a single plain manifold, but i will play around with the timing first then start tuning the carb. i usually just stick the 500 edelbrocks on stock 351s, and they are fine

Even tho I own a Holden, I do like that. The ford/holden thing doesn't worry me.

cuda.340, May 19, 12:53am
thoses Eddie carbs are air valve secondaries so if it can't suck that much it doesn't use all the carb BUT single plane minifolds are shocking for low vac signal. the usual fix is a higher stall converter so it drives pass the hesitation.

i always thought these coons with the Integra front needed a bit more detailing to set them more apart. they look like someone assembled the plastic kitset but never painted the molding.
