No cert required IF you use all factory parts and don't modify anything structural.
Basically, make it look like a factory manual and you won't need a cert.

Yep the key is to make it look good and unaltered, it can be done if its gone about the right way.Technically if you substitute or modify a crossmember it becomes a certable mod, but in most cases it would take a vigilant AVI or one who has intimate knowledge of the particular model to pick it up.Don't do any stupid amateurish butcherous boyracer mods like cutting consoles or using the wrong console,that stick out like pink stickers on a matt black Skyline and you should be fine.

i did opposite many years ago, 64 EH holden manual, transplanted a 2 stage powerglide, cant remember but may have had to alter cross member! lottsa drinks since then,lol,
man that car could go!
