May 29, 7:12pm

You are more than welcome to get a second opinion if you feel the first guy is pedantic. The difference is you just pay for another inspection, especially if its a fail for something that is costly and doesn't need fixing.
smac,

Well, by your very question you've suggested there is a point. You obviously doubt the reason for the fail, so I'd say you have two options: 1. Go talk to the manager at the place concerned (best) 2. Go somewhere else, pay again ,and take the risk they are swayed by the previous fail.

ok thanks for your advice, they were just over pedantic i think and also had passed the car 6 months before and then this time said the cars to low.

bikernutrr,
May 29, 7:31pm
Best to take it to some suspension specialists, get them to take a look.
a18a,
May 29, 7:31pm
put some bigger wheels/tyres on your car. that's what one wof guy told me to do when my car failed on being just a little bit too low
bikernutrr,
May 29, 7:35pm
If there is a suspension issue putting bigger wheels on won't solve the problem.
gtf,
May 29, 7:36pm
Or did he mean "standard wheels with higher profile tyres"!
melly16,
May 29, 7:38pm

very few places check the computer 1st, so if they fill out the paperwork and it passes they cant un-pass it when they check on the computer.
