1995 Toyota Cynos, 1300cc, automatic, 103,000km, cam belt done, no issues at all, power steering, stereo, electric windows, central locking, drivers' airbag - my insurance company is suggesting $2440 but I would have thought it'd cost me a lot more if say it got stolen and I tried to replace it with something as similar as possible!Thanks for your advice :)

That car is worth 3500 minimum with those low km. but personally I would only get third party on it.

Judging by the ones currently for sale on Trademe, I'd say the insurance company is spot on.

if it's the old shape would have thought you should insure for $3000, a new shape with low km like that would be worth closer to $5000.

I think it's the new shape (a little more rounded at the back than boxy) - it's a Juno if that helps. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts so far

I'd say that price is spot on. I saw one go through Turners for weeks. Finally sold last week for $2000. 130km.
