All I can find is 1600kg braked. -most vehicles in this class have an unbraked limit of 750kg so I'd imagine it would be the story here too.

Don't know about a BA, but the FG is 2300 kg braked and 1000 kg unbraked. Was interesting to read in this months NZ Autocar that the "new" Falcon with the 2 litre Ecoboost motor still has the 1000 kg unbraked figure, but the braked capacity is down 700 kg to 1600 kg. The stated reason is the capacity of the EcoBoost engines cooling system.

It depends on what towbar was fitted and whether it was auto or manual, there were either 1600 or 2300kg options but the manuals were lower, apparantly in the interests of preserving clutch life. This is of course with genuine towbars, not elcheapo aftermarket jobs.

This is correct according to the name plate on my BA utility tow bar.

It doesn't matter. Legally, all that is required is that the combination can stop in 7m from 30km/h.

It matters in that I had no idea and the ratings at least give me an idea of a ballpark figure.
