My 98 holden astra hatch has seen better days & really needs some minor dings fixed & a complete repaint.What sort of money am i looking at to do this!

$1200 for a quick flick over.
$3000+++++ for a major strip down and respray.
$10,000 if you want to get really carried away.
$30,000 if you want it completely pulled apart and every single component repainted.

After the paint cost, it might look worse and make the car even worth less due to the ugly paint job .

You may be surprised at the improvement in appearence a proper machine cut and polish will give tired paint on an old car. Add to that a few hundred dollars spent on repairing the dings. You may be able to have a much smarter looking car for about $500.
