Website to look up car info free?

used to know a site that you could put in car reg and it would show warrant and rego n stuff. any ideas what it was!

It probably is, it used to be free but now lookups cost. The NZTA or whatever they are called this week made their database pay to view

what nzta should start is a database of wof's so you could see what a vehicle has failed on in the past before you purchase it

Not needed. If you're purchasing a vehicle get your own independant check done on it.
