Chainsaw question (i know not motoring but close)

Brother owns a Stihl shop and he says no, but some 034 come out with .325 chains you need .38
Have a look on the bar that is on the saw now should tell you

Won't fit 034 is stihl bar slot width-wider where it bolts on.
(034-not MS340 should be 3/8 pitch050 gauge)

count the number of the drive links on the chain the piece which goes in the bar groove i might have some bars out in the shed to suit your saw.

Just counted the amount of link as suggested and i got 67. Are you looking at selling some bars!

if its got 67dl it would be an 18 inch bar fitted with 3/8 chain.

i am a mechainic and have serviced everything from army tanks to chainsaws and still do heaps of chainsaws as i now specialise in tractors and farm equipment,also do chainsaws for logging contractors.I have got a 20 inch bar and chain to fit a stihl for $100 plus freight.
