I think it's about $600.
And the inspection to pass for road worthiness, is rather vigorous compared to a WOF.

Yea $560 but I think thats just to get the wof and plates. You may still need to reg the car

Apart from tje $600 or so testing fee you then have the cost of any repair work required to acheve a pass.It could work out more than the car is worth.

cost me $450. at the compliance center to get wof u then take mr2a form ltsa etc cost $322. to reg 6 months

Yes I have costed it for a car Im doing up. $430 I think I was quoted and they are hunting for rust and damage repairs. So they will pull all the interior plastics off to check.
